2017-2018 CS Religious School Year

Our 2017-18 CSI Religious School year is about to begin! We have already had our Teacher Planning Day this past August 13th. There was a great turn out of our teachers, and we welcomed our new ISJL Education Fellow, Carly Abramson. Thank you, Jennifer, for leading a great meeting that was packed with a ton of information!

The first day of CSI Sunday School will be September 10th, 9:30-12:30. This first day is for all students, Seedlings through Teen Class. Parents, teachers, and students will attend an all school meeting at 9:30. The CSI afternoon Hebrew School, for students in third through seventh grades, will also begin on September 10th, from 12:30 -2:15. If you have not already sent in your registration form for your child for Sunday School and/or Hebrew school, please do so.

A huge thank you is due to our wonderful teaching staff. Every one of our teachers works towards making Jewish education fun, engaging, and meaningful for our students. Our teacher lineup is as follows: Anne Bayme and Chrissy Crabtree with the Seedling Class; Jenna Denisar and Lara Geller with our First-Third graders; Pam Webster and Jay Freedman with our Fourth-Sixth Graders; and Jennifer Bernstein and Emily Piassick with our Teen Class. Our class aides are: Isaac Crabtree, Jack Finkelstein, Nicole Hill, and Amita Ilan. We love that these post confir-mation teens will still be involved with our Sunday School! Our Hebrew teachers are Rabbi Aaron Rubinstein, Isaac Crabtree, Jay Freedman, and we welcome TBI’s Rabbi Aaron Sataloff. We have an incredible team on staff, and know we have incredible parents to partner with us! Looking forward to a great year!

Mark your calendar for Friday evening, September 15th, at 6:15 p.m., to attend the Consecration of our new Hebrew students. Join us to cele-brate Graham Bullington, Ethan Piassick, and Sam Wilkinson as they begin their formal Hebrew journey.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
