Sha’arey Israel is committed to providing a quality, solid, and well-rounded Jewish education to all congregation children through confirmation. In order to accomplish this, we include hands on educational activities, as well as interactive experiences to assure our students will gain a strong sense of Jewish values as well as a strong, positive Jewish identity.

Hebrew School begins in third grade and continues until the end of the school year in which a student becomes a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Jewish education doesn’t end with the B’nai Mitzvah experience. We offer our post B’nai Mitzvah young adults a confirmation class and a variety of other ways in which they can continue to involve themselves in synagogue life.

Families with children attending Religious School receive a handbook which includes goals and objectives, curriculum information and school rules.
