Well, the year 2023 is off to a busy start. Last month, we were able to celebrate Micah’s Bar Mitzvah with the entire Cornelius family and friends. Micah did a wonderful job! February will be another busy month with this weekend coming up and the Religious School learning about Tu B’Shevat. Take the time to help commemorate this day with your children, grandchildren, or a friend’s child and show them the importance of planting new trees, shrubs, or flowers to renew our planet. It helps the environment as well as beautifies our world.
We are getting a nice little minyan in person and on zoom on Saturdays. We would like to get more of our congregants with special occasions to come to Saturday morning services to participate and receive an honor to commemorate their special day. When the Rabbi or Jeff calls you, please say yes and let us help you to celebrate that birthday or anniversary. Don’t be shy!
We are all looking forward to our Super Bowl fundraiser. Thank you to Jan Lewis and her committee for all your hard work!
Try and stay well during this crazy weather we are having. Hope to see all of you in shul!
