Congregation Sha’arey Israel (CSI) is partnering with Daybreak, a daytime service center for Middle Georgia’s homeless and others who are in need. Services include housing and housing placement, case management, breakfast and snacks, laundry facilities, showers, free health clinic, access to phones and computers, transportation assistance, identification and documentation assistance. Macon Outreach is greatly in need of non-perishable food donations that are collected year round in a cart in the hallway near the Chapel. Items such as canned fish and beans, peanut butter, macaroni & cheese, applesauce, canned fruits and vegetables, rice and pastas are all especially helpful.
