Closing a Successful High Holiday Season and Looking Forward

Dear CSI Congregants,

It was an event-filled month at CSI with wonderful services and events from Selichot to Simchat Torah.  Rabbi Aaron and so many others made this High Holiday season a memorable one.  We can’t say this enough, but thank you to all who were involved in the services and meal preparation as well as those who hosted events like the wonderful Sukkah Hops.

Things are slowing down a bit as we get into the cold weather season, but we do have a few CSI events on the horizon.  First, please mark your calendar for the afternoon of Sunday November 9^th.  In remembrance of Kristallnacht, Laurel Robinson and her colleague will be working with our congregants (children and adults) to create beautiful Jewish-themed glass art.  We hope you will join us to commemorate this important day.

As hard as it is to believe, Chanukkah is right around the corner.  This year, we will be hosting our annual Chanukkah Family Night on the first night, which takes place Sunday, December 14^th.  Be on the lookout for more information on that event in the coming weeks.

We would be remiss not to recognize those who have already given to the Annual Fund.  Thank you all so much for your donations!  If you have yet to give, please consider CSI when you are thinking about the non-profits you want to support.  The need is considerable as it helps us operate each year.
