I cannot believe June is here and the first year of my term has just flown by! I find myself
thinking back on this past year and wonder where the time has gone. I am happy to be
able to say that despite Covid, our Congregation has not only survived, but we have also
managed to do quite well with our regular services, holidays, adult and children
educational needs, and life cycle events. Our annual meeting is coming up and will be
available both in person and on zoom. As of now, we are looking forward to being back in
shul for the High Holidays both in person and on zoom.
We are also planning to start back food services for Shabbat, both Kiddish and Shabbat
dinners, and hope to have Kol Nidre dinner this year as well. I need volunteers to help with
any and all, so please let me know if you are willing to help. Later this month, we will be
having some safety training here at the synagogue. It is a short program with vital safety
information, and I hope that most of you are able to come. More details about the time and
date will be forthcoming.
I want to thank everyone who has helped make this year fly by! I know we will have a great
year with amazing programming and services for the upcoming year.
Hope all of you have a great summer! See all of you in shul!
