Purim is just around the corner and do we have a special program and meal planned for
you! Our Purim family night will start off with dinner celebrating various counties of POLKA
dancing and music cuisine. Our fun will not end there since the Purim Sphiel is sure to
entertain and have everyone laughing as well as our Religious school/ Hebrew students
are busy learning their parts to help make this Purim celebration fun and festive. Don’t
forget to wear your best costume to help make everything even more fun and exciting!
The weather sure seems to be following tradition, and March is roaring in like a lion!
People may be still sick at shul, so please make good use of the antiseptic dispensers
around the building. Wash hands frequently and use Kleenex when you sneeze. I also
want to thank all of you who have pitched in to get this Purim menu set as well as those
who will be helping this weekend and Monday to get everything ready for dinner before the
Sphiel! Teamwork really makes our Kehilla strong and great.
Thanks to everyone for the great Congregational meeting last Sunday. It was orderly and
everyone had a chance to say what they wanted. I and my team will be busy negotiating
the new contract with the Rabbi so that we can enjoy the next five years on his tenure.
Try and stay well during this crazy weather we are having. Hope to see all of you in shul!
